Kutz to Host Pre-Game Legislative Outreach Events

HARRISBURG – Residents of the 87th District are invited to join Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland) at a series of family-friendly pre-game legislative outreach events this fall. These tailgates will offer an opportunity for community members to connect, enjoy refreshments, and learn about important state programs and resources before cheering on their local high school football teams.

The events will be held on the following dates and locations:

•  Friday, Sept. 18, from 5:30–7 p.m., at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park, 1 Memorial Park Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
•  Friday, Oct. 9, 5:30–7 p.m., at Search Dental, 17 Waterford Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
•  Friday, Oct. 16, 5:30–7 p.m., at Citizens Fire Co. Station 2, 405 Forge Road, Boiling Springs, PA 17007.

The Sept. 18 event will honor veterans and highlight the resources and benefits available to them in recognition of their service to our country.

“High school sporting events are places where community members gather to cheer on the teams and players they love most,” said Kutz. “My office is joining the Friday night lights fun to offer legislative resources and light refreshments to football fans before our Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Valley, and Boiling Springs teams kick off. I am looking forward to connecting with constituents at these events!”
