Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program Assistance
Wednesday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library, 16 N. Walnut St., Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
My staff will be on-site to help constituents file their 2025 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications.
What to bring:
| • | Proof of income (Social Security statements, investment dividends, pension documents, W-2 and 1099 forms, etc.). |
|
| • | A valid driver’s license. |
|
| • | Receipts for paid property taxes OR a rent certificate signed by your landlord or notarized. |
The 2025 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program income limit has been increased to $48,110 for homeowners and renters. Remember to exclude 50% of Social Security when calculating income. The maximum rebate is $1,000. The program benefits Pennsylvanians 65 or older; widows and widowers 50 and older; and people with disabilities 18 and older.

Damaged License Plate Replacement Event
Saturday, March 28, from 9-11 a.m. at my district office, 2 Market Plaza Way, Ste. 9, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055
Officers from the Upper Allen Police Department will help facilitate damaged license plate replacements at this event. You must bring your vehicle with the damaged plate attached, as well as your unexpired vehicle registration card and driver’s license.

Free Community Shred Events
Thursday, April 16, from 3-6 p.m. at my Upper Allen Township district office, 2 Market Plaza Way, Ste. 9, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
AND
Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at my South Middleton Township district office and Municipal Building, 520 Park Drive, Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
As tax documents begin to roll out, now is a great time to think about safely disposing of old records and other sensitive personal documents. To help residents protect themselves from identity theft, my office will be hosting two free community shred events. The event on April 18 is co-hosted with Sen. Greg Rothman (R-34).
